Although the method of operation of chemical warmers seems complicated, in fact, their use is very simple. To start the process of releasing heat, just tear the package.
The heater contains iron powder, which releases heat upon contact with oxygen. The warmer also contains activated carbon, which is responsible for absorbing oxygen, and table salt, which accelerates the oxidation of iron. Thanks to this heat is released immediately after opening the package.
